In cooperation with the Canadian Embassy in Baghdad, D HO is implementing a program to empower women and girls to obtain their legal rights without discrimination in society through workshops and community mobilization campaigns.

Democratic House Organization launched a program to empower women and girls to obtain their legal rights without discrimination in society and in cooperation with the Canadian Embassy in Baghdad

One of the workshops was implemented in cooperation with the Integrity Commission at the headquarters of the Iraqi Academy for Combating Corruption. The project aims to support the efforts in the State of Iraq to empower women legally by defining them with all their rights stipulated in the constitution and legislation of the State of Iraq and in accordance with its international pledges. The project adopts a comprehensive approach that combines Between collecting and simplifying the legal material and reviewing it, then providing it and making it accessible to women in particular and society (and scholars and legislators) in general, in addition to raising capabilities and training specialists and relevant authorities.
